Data Collection & Management

The objective of this course is to provide participants with adequate knowledge and skills in collection and management of data. It draws information on ways of developing efficient means to gather relevant data, approach to acquire accurate data, and contemporary approaches to categorize, archive and administer datasets. Participants will also learn how data management software should be used as well as how data should be managed properly.

Why this training is important:

Data is critical in research, business and government since decision making is based on data. Certainly, if data is not accurately collected then the analysis would be off and this would/can lead to costly mistakes. Likewise, data management makes certain that data is available, protected and optimized for use or ability to perform analysis on.
